Arthur Miller's, All My Sons tells the story of an American family caught up in the struggle between personal responsibility and duty to their country. Joe Keller, a successful, self-made man owns a factory that sold defective airplane parts to the army, which later caused the planes to crash and killed 21 men. He was eventually cleared of all charges, but his business partner landed in prison. Now his oldest son is about to marry the partner's daughter, the affair is revisited, and old questions resurface.
In the course of the play, Joe's wife, son, and the children of his jailed business partner, confront Joe and each other. Answers push to the surface as the painful truth is revealed surrounding the disappearance of Joe’s youngest son during the war. This play, with the themes of war profiteering, the sacrifices of servicemen, and a family's love and denial, remain as powerful and relevant as ever.
